Jo Lily And The Mystix: American Roots

Jo Lily has one of those grave, soulful voices that sounds like it’s been honed by years of whiskey, cigarettes and life. Lily is the guitarist and lead vocalist of The Mystix, a Boston-based American roots band.

The Mystix's new album, “Mighty Tone,” is a journey into the rich history of American music from the minstrel era to the white and black blues of the 1920s.

Jo Lily and The Mystix joined Radio Boston in studio earlier this year in June.

Jo Lily and The Mystix will be performing at Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, N.H. on Saturday, November 24 at 8 p.m.
