The prosecution and defense have offered their closing arguments in the corruption trial of former Massachusetts Treasurer Tim Cahill.

Cahill is accused of conspiring to use taxpayer-funded state lottery TV ads to boost his 2010 independent run for governor. As treasurer, Cahill oversaw the lottery.
