Radio Boston "My candidacy is trying to send a message: that the people of Massachusetts are quite capable of picking their own US Senator, thank you very much."

Radio Boston "Speaking at a Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce breakfast, the Winthrop Democrat [House Speaker Robert DeLeo] called for a much more moderate package of tax increases."

The Raw Story  "So, what I’d like is, you’re the experts on money laundering. I’d like an opinion: What does it take — how many billions do you have to launder for drug lords and how many economic sanctions do you have to violate — before someone will consider shutting down a financial institution like this?"

Citizens Energy "We'll get you some heating oil at 40% off from the good people of Venezuela and Citgo."

WBUR "The morning commute became a slushy crawl on most major highways, complicated by spinouts. The speed limit on the Mass Pike was lowered to 40 miles per hour Friday morning between Worcester and the New York border."

Boston Globe "The newspaper discovered the shocking truth after scouring a recent Onion article. The article is headlined “Pretty Cute Watching Boston Residents Play Daily Game of Big City.” The giveaway that the article was satire was the use of the word “charming” in the same sentence with the “T,” the city’s trolley and subway system. Bostonians use many words to describe the “T” and it’s fair to say, the Globe has learned, that “charming” is not one of them."

The Onion "Boston residents once again hustled and bustled their way into the nation’s hearts this week as they continued playing their adorable little game of “Big City,” a live-action role-playing adventure in which Bostonians buzz about their daily routines in a delightful hubbub of excitement as if they lived in a major American metropolis."

This segment aired on March 8, 2013.
