MASS MoCA: Always Worth The Drive

When you walk into the MASS MoCA, you are immediately struck by it's size, it's soaring ceilings. What you may not know is that the history of the building spans some two hundred years of economic and industrial development in New England.

And, according to the Boston Globe's Sebastian Smee, the building itself, a textile factory turned electronics plant turned contemporary art mecca, allows the museum to exhibit some of the world's largest pieces of art.

And that's the subject of today's ARTery segment, where we talk to the region's leading artists, musicians, and critics about an event that excites them.  Today we focus on three exhibits by three living artists: Xu Bing, Tom Phillips, and Jason Middlebrook.
