It appears that Massachusetts may not implement a controversial new technology tax after all.

After fierce backlash from business leaders and other states jumping in to try to lure businesses away from Massachusetts, House and Senate leaders said today they will work to repeal the new tax. Governor Patrick also called for repeal this week, despite originally introducing the tax in his budget this past January.
