Week In Review: Bus Strike, Mayor's Race, Shutdown

In the news this week: the wheels on the bus did not go round and round. Not on Tuesday, anyway. A wildcat strike by drivers left 30,000 students without their usual way to get to school. City officials were surprised — and furious.

Also, the race for mayor becomes a contest over endorsements and a new poll shows an early advantage.

Meanwhile, the government shutdown is felt across the state, including in the race to fill Senator Ed Markey's former congressional seat.
