Week In Review: Bus Strike, Mayor's Race, Shutdown
ResumeIn the news this week: the wheels on the bus did not go round and round. Not on Tuesday, anyway. A wildcat strike by drivers left 30,000 students without their usual way to get to school. City officials were surprised — and furious.
Also, the race for mayor becomes a contest over endorsements and a new poll shows an early advantage.
Meanwhile, the government shutdown is felt across the state, including in the race to fill Senator Ed Markey's former congressional seat.
WBUR's Anthony Brooks and Sacha Pfeiffer review Boston politics with this week's panelists.
