Every now and then the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court issues a ruling that makes headlines worldwide. Yesterday, the online magazine Jezebel screamed, "Great News, Creeps!", as the state's highest court ruled that 'upskirting' — that is, taking photos up the skirts of women — is legal. So today, lawmakers are scrambling to fix the law and make it illegal.
