Market Basket's current CEOs — Felicia Thornton and James Gooch — have signed on for a tough job. They have replaced the wildly popular Arthur T. Demoulas, whose ouster — among other grievances — precipitated a massive walkout by Market Basket employees that has carried on for weeks.

The company is hemorrhaging money,  and the CEOs' management of the crisis has not appeased the protesting workers or their supporters.
