Read a poem, and you typically focus on the words on the page, how they sound together, what they mean to us.

What Bob Scanlon wants you to pay attention to is the music of poetry in a production called "The Word Exchange." The musicality of poetry in translation is what's at the heart of the one-night show Thursday at Suffolk University's Modern Theatre. The show will feature an international collection of poets and poems that'll be read in their original language and then in English.

Guest

Robert Scanlan, director of "The Word Exchange" and president of The Poets' Theatre. He's also a professor of English at Harvard University.
