Details have started to emerge from a forthcoming report on what ails the T and how to fix it. In the wake of the T's collapse and paralysis this past winter, Governor Charlie Baker convened a panel of experts, and they're focusing on the need to control spending, low labor productivity, and the high cost of maintenance. The panel will release its full report later this week.
