In the wake of the attacks on civilians in Paris Friday, leaders on all levels are being asked to examine their foreign policy stances. On Monday, we heard from Gov. Baker who said that he is wary of accepting more Syrian refugees into the state. And on Tuesday afternoon, Carly Fiorina said at an event in Concord, NH that the U.S. must stop the flow of Syrian refugees into the country.
- "On Saturday night, less than 24 hours after armed gunmen killed more than 127 in Paris in what analysts called the largest terrorist attack since September 11, 2001, the Democrats gathered in Iowa for their second primary debate in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election."
- "'President Obama and Hillary Clinton’s idea that we should bring tens of thousands of Syrian Muslim refugees to America—it is nothing less than lunacy,' Ted Cruz said on Fox News, the day after the attacks on Paris."
