Thousands Of Runners, Spectators Turn Out For 120th Running Of Boston Marathon

If the jubilant crowds lining the Boston Marathon route are an indicator, it appears the spirit of "Boston Strong" has prevailed this Marathon Monday.

Despite the tragedy three years ago, the mood was festive among the thousands of runners and spectators — even though the Red Sox lost to the Blue Jays at the traditional Patriot's Day game at Fenway, 4-3.
