After a long, busy political convention week, it's time for our week in review.

Donald Trump formally accepted the Republican nomination, capping off the GOP convention in Cleveland. And, in his speech — which was more than an hour long, Trump laid out his vision for America.

"My plan will begin with safety at home," said Trump. "Which means safe neighborhoods, secure borders and protection from terrorism. There can be no prosperity without law and order!"

A return to law and order was just one of the themes of this week's sometimes contentious Republican convention.
