Former House Speaker Sal DiMasi will be home for Thanksgiving this year. A federal judge has ruled that DiMasi can be released from prison early, because his health has declined severely.

DiMasi was convicted to an eight-year prison sentence back in 2001, on extortion and other corruption charges. He was set to be released in two years, but his health has declined.
