Dr. Peter Breggin took the stand Monday to describe Michelle Carter's mental state based on her text messages, Facebook messages and interviews with those who've known her throughout her life.

Carter is being charged with involuntary manslaughter for allegedly encouraging her friend, Conrad Roy III, to commit suicide.
