CommonHealth: Where Do Food Cravings Come From?
ResumeA new study in the journal Nature helps explain what happens in our brains when we see images of food and we turn into food zombies — staggering toward the fridge, trying to satisfy our food cravings.
The study found that by manipulating just a few thousand neurons in mice, they could make a mouse that's just eaten the equivalent of Thanksgiving dinner notice food cues and begin eating again.
