Week In Review: More Sexual Misconduct Allegations
ResumeOur week in review panel looks at continued allegations and consequences of sexual abuse, harassment and workplace misconduct.
Allegations this week are against a variety of men, from celebrity chef Mario Batali, to members of Congress, including Republican Congressman Blake Farenthold of Texas. New details also emerged about WBUR's Tom Ashbrook, who is now on leave. Eleven women and men have filed a complaint against him.
PBS also suspended the late-night talk show host Tavis Smiley, amid allegations that the host engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with subordinates, and that he created a verbally abusive work environment.
