With a vote of 224-201, the House voted in favor of the GOP tax bill on Wednesday. Not one Democrat voted in favor of the bill.

Republicans say the new law cuts taxes for everyone — though the biggest breaks go to the wealthiest.

President Trump is expected to sign the legislation later this week — but it could be as late as next Tuesday before the bill is signed.

This is the first major legislative victory for the president and the Republicans since taking control of the House, Senate and the White House.

Guest

Michael Capuano, congressman representing the 7th Congressional District of Massachusetts.
