Federal Immigration Officials Could Have Accessed BPS Reports

Boston Public Schools and U.S. Immigration Custom Enforcement agency, or ICE, have both publicly denied sharing information about students.

However, there is renewed concern among immigration advocates that a Boston School Police report about an altercation between students was shared with a database of local, state, and federal law enforcement, which ICE officials could access.

Advocates say they fear the existence of "school to deportation pipeline" in Boston.
