On Thursday, the Baker administration announced it had picked the Northern Pass project for a 20-year, multibillion-dollar contract.

Critics say the venture between Eversource and Hydro-Québec will hurt scenic areas of New Hampshire, and that Eversource was too close to the bid evaluation process.
