In Massachusetts last year, there were over 2,000 opioid-related deaths. The epidemic hits close to home for Alex Hogan of Somerville. Since 2001, it's killed more than a dozen people he grew up with, including three of his closest friends. Hogan tells their stories and the story of a community hit hard by the opioid epidemic in his new film, Runnin'.
