More Than Half Of MBTA Facilities Need Significant Repair

A new report by the MBTA found that 57 percent of the organization's facilities are in need of significant repair.

Mass. Transportation Secretary Stephanie Pollack said the organization's focus is on improving vehicles and equipment that will help with ride times rather than on structural issues that don't present any safety concerns.

But could that approach lead to a continued loss of ridership?
