After winning back the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives in the midterm elections, Democrats now turn to the process of selecting the next speaker.

Nancy Pelosi, who previously held the position from 2007 to 2011, is widely considered the favorite for the job. But some Democrats, including Massachusetts Congressman Seth Moulton, have said they will not support Pelosi and are calling for new leadership.
