If you combine a disgraced Boston cop with a bookish Texas special agent and $3 million buried in the desert, you get the some of the plot of a new crime novel from Boston Police Sergeant Brian Dunford. Dunford says he drew from his on-the-ground experience to write his first novel, "South Of Evil"
