The Boston school committee will vote tonight on the next superintendent for Boston Public Schools. The choice will be made from a pool of three finalists who were announced two weeks ago. Each finalist was given a full day to interview for the job in a public setting, though not all members of the community feel that the process included enough community involvement. The next superintendent will face a number of challenges upon taking the job.
