Schools Close In Dedham As Teachers Go On Strike

Schools in Dedham are closed Friday as hundreds of teachers are striking.

The union is demanding better pay and official language to address sexual harassment added to the contract, and authorized the strike after 21 months of failed negotiations.

It's the first teachers' strike in Massachusetts in 12 years.
