The House of Representatives on Wednesday convened the country's first public impeachment hearings in over two decades. Acting Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent both testified.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday their testimony "corroborated evidence of bribery" by President Trump in his relations with Ukraine. But the president said that "normal people" would close the case after what the American public heard.

We get local reaction on the hearings and what's still to come in the inquiry.
