The Washington Post has published hundreds of records of private interviews about the U.S. war in Afghanistan, showing that senior officials across three administrations knowingly painted a picture of the war inconsistent with the reality on the ground.

Harvard Kennedy School Professor and former NATO Ambassador Nicholas Burns is one of the report's subjects, and joined us to share his reflections.
