Gov. Charlie Baker on Tuesday announced the state is rolling back, slightly, in its reopening to Phase 3 Step 1. Restrictions include closing food courts, requiring masks all the time at workplaces, and closing indoor performance venues.

The announcement comes as we head deeper into this surge, and with a vaccine rollout coming as early as maybe this week.

We take listener calls for reaction and pandemic questions with Dr. Mark Siedner, a clinical epidemiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, and with Lenny Marcus, Founding Co-Director of the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative, a joint program of the Harvard Chan School of Public Health and the Kennedy School of Government.

This segment aired on December 8, 2020.
