We discuss a week that that challenged us to our core — about safety, accountability, and our collective resilience.

We take stock of where we are on the coronavirus pandemic as cases continue to surge, vaccine rollout continues, and Boston Public Schools look to bring students back in person. We also debrief what is likely Mayor Marty Walsh's final State of the City address, and check in on the race to replace him happening in City Council and beyond.

We also recap a historic second presidential impeachment, sparked by last week's violent insurrection at the Capitol, and look ahead to the Joe Biden's inauguration.

Our panelists are Wilnelia Rivera, democratic strategist, founder of Rivera Consulting, and chief strategist for Rep. Ayanna Pressley's successful 2018 Congressional campaign; and Richard Tisei, former Republican leader of the Massachusetts State Senate, and a former Republican candidate for Congress.

Also, you can vote on the state dinosaur here.

This program aired on January 15, 2021.
