Starting Wednesday, the state is requiring all middle schools to re-open to full-time in-person learning, unless they've been granted a waiver.

Elementary school students went back earlier this month, and high school students are set to return in person on May 17, although many are already there. Parents have the option of keeping their children remote if they prefer.

The question on our minds is: have your kids have gone back to school, and if so, how does it feel? We take listener calls and discuss with WBUR multi-platform editor, Meghan B. Kelly, and Omar Ruiz, licensed marriage & family therapist and owner of TalkThinkThrive, a relationship counseling practice based out of Wellesley. He is also a Middle School Counselor at Boston Collegiate Charter School.

This segment aired on April 28, 2021.
