Community members are demanding more information, communication and transparency from law enforcement in the case of Mikayla Miller — a 16-year-old Black teenager from Hopkinton who was found dead in the woods two weeks ago.

WBUR senior reporter Ally Jarmanning has been following the case, and joins us to give us an update. She also brings us the latest on Sean Ellis. This week, a judge overturned the final charge against Ellis, who wrongfully spent more than 20 years in prison for the 1993 killing of Boston police detective.

This segment aired on May 5, 2021.
