It's been one year since George Floyd was murdered by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. Graphic footage of his death resonated deeply in the Commonwealth, sparking protests, driving forward police reform bills, and challenging every community to confront a history of racism. A year later, stuttering progress and so much pain remains. We talk to The Boston Globe's Jenee Osterheldt, who recently penned a column reflecting on the past year.

This segment aired on May 25, 2021.
