Pop Goes The 4th!

The Boston Pops will take the stage on July 4th for their first performance in front of a live audience in more than a year. The concert will be at Tanglewood for a reduced crowd, separate from the Fireworks Spectacular, which will be held on the Esplanade. Boston Pops Conductor Keith Lockhart joins us to talk about preparing for the Pops' return, what's been lost over the last sixteen months, and how he's thinking about the July 4th holiday as our country grapples with our own complicated history.
