Hundreds of nurses from Worcester's Saint Vincent Hospital have been on strike for 149 days.

The group representing the nurses - the Massachusetts Nurses Association - says it's the longest strike of its kind nationwide in the last decade.

At issue are staffing levels, a particularly sensitive issue for hospitals during a pandemic.

This week, those nurses and their employer, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, were once again at the negotiation table, but those talks ended without resolution.

We hear how talks are going from Cyrus Moulton, a reporter with the Telegram & Gazette in Worcester and has been covering the strike from the beginning.

This segment aired on August 3, 2021.
