The community is still reeling from Tuesday's news that Monica Cannon-Grant, a well-known activist and organizer, has been indicted – along with her husband – for alleged misuse of the money raised by the non-profit she founded, Violence in Boston. Cannon-Grant first started getting serious attention for her efforts after organizing a march from Roxbury to Boston Common in 2017, and regularly drew thousands to demonstrations and protests over the last five years. We discuss Cannon-Grant's impact on Boston and the significance of the indictment with Boston Globe columnist Adrian Walker.

This segment aired on March 16, 2022.
