A new play at Boston's Huntington Theatre reexamines the Pulitzer prize winning book, "Common Ground: A Turbulent Decade in the Lives of Three American Families" by J. Anthony Lukas.

Both recount the stories of three families amid the 1974 decision to bus Boston students in an effort to desegregate schools. We hear from the duo that conceived the play, which asks audiences to reconsider the truth about Boston's past, the director and the playwright of "Common Ground Revisited."

This segment aired on June 8, 2022.
