This is the Radio Boston rundown for July 8. Tiziana Dearing is our host.

  • We'll unpack the white supremacist march that occurred over Fourth of July weekend. Tito Jackson, former Boston City Councilor, joins us along with Joan Donovan, research director at Harvard's Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy and an expert in how extremist organizations organize and operate.
  • A new podcast called "Welcome to Provincetown" is out. It takes a look at the lives of six Provincetown residents during the summer of 2021. They are young and old, local and from afar, struggling or soaring. The creator and host of the podcast give us a look at the stories and at how the podcast was developed.
  • There's a lot you can do this weekend, starting with the return of the New Bedford Folk Festival after a two-year hiatus. There's also a Medfield pop-up from the folks behind the beloved venue Great Scott, which closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. WBUR senior arts and culture reporter Cristela Guerra shares those recommendations and more.

This program aired on July 8, 2022.
