With the weather expected to be nice this weekend, swing by one of two outdoors arts events. Or, get comfortable inside a repurposed church and listen to classical music. WBUR senior arts and culture reporter Cristela Guerra shares these recommendations:

  • ArtBeat 2022, Saturday, July 16, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. (Rain date: Sunday, same time),Davis Square, Somerville. This multicultural arts festival spanning Davis Square offers live performances, interactive activities and food.
  • New Narratives: Our Past and PresentSaturday, July 16, 3 p.m. - 6 p.m., Mary Soo Hoo Park, Rose Kennedy Greenway, Boston. Asian American and Pacific islander artists lead through movement, an audio play, spoken word and live music.
  • Aston Magna Music Festival: "All Handel"Saturday, July 16, 7 p.m., St. James Place, Great Barrington. This show features music by classical composer George Frideric Handel with performances by soprano Dominique Labelle.
