This is the Radio Boston rundown for Oct. 7. Tiziana Dearing is our host.

  • We bring you a debate over Question 4 on your ballot this November, regarding an existing law that allows immigrants in Massachusetts who do not have legal status to obtain a driver's license. A "yes" vote would keep the law on the books and allow those folks to get a license. A "no" vote would repeal the law. The debate is brought to you by WBUR, The Boston Globe and WCVB.
  • Some designers in Massachusetts say the future of fashion is digital. As virtual lives get more sophisticated and immersive, people are paying real dollars for virtual sneakers and ballgowns. We speak with WBUR business reporter Yasmin Amer, who talked with designers and retailers who are creating and selling those digital products.
  • The aurora borealis is coming to a city near you. Swiss artist Dan Acher, an Ashoka Fellow and the founder of Happy City Lab, has been commissioned to bring his “Borealis” installation to the 2022 Cambridge Science Festival. We speak with Acher at a live event held at WBUR's CitySpace.

This program aired on October 7, 2022.
