If you've bought a home, or in the process of buying one, you've probably heard of title insurance. But it turns out, a lot of what you pay doesn't actually go toward the insurance. This isn't surprising, considering title insurance is drastically under regulated in Massachusetts. WBUR's Beth Healy walks us through this industry and what its current set-up means for home buyers.

This segment aired on November 21, 2022.
