PFAS: The toxic chemicals that are in just about everything

Manufacturers use the toxic chemicals collectively known as PFAS to produce umbrellas, carpets, dental floss, and cookware. The chemicals are useful for their anti-stain and anti-stick properties.

But WBUR reporters Gabrielle Emanuel and Barbara Moran tell us PFAS are really bad for you. And they stay in your body for years.
