How these workers help displaced Ukrainians feel at home in Massachusetts

Over the last year, more than 115,000 Ukrainians have arrived in the U.S. through a special sponsorship program set up by the Biden administration. Hundreds have settled in Massachusetts, mainly in Greater Boston and the Springfield area.

Our guests today include three people working directly with Ukrainians and others resettling in Massachusetts:

  • Caroline Davis, program manager for services for new Americans at Ascentria Care Alliance
  • Marwa Alnaal, director of government affairs at Ascentria Care Alliance
  • Elizabeth Sweet, executive director of the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition
