Chelsea using wave of innovation to combat food, wealth inequality

Chelsea has been through a lot in the last few years: high rates of COVID infection; worsening unemployment; food insecurity; education gaps widening; scorching heat islands due to climate change; and a COVID outbreak that affected almost 30 residents and staff at Chelsea's veterans home just this past week.

But through it all, Chelsea pushed forward, vaccinating more than 80 percent of the population and running a successful guaranteed basic income pilot.

Radio Boston checks in with one of Greater Boston's most resilient cities.
