For a professional club, the Boston Red Sox are having a lot of problems simply catching and throwing the baseball. Critics are also questioning the team's decision to call up Matt Dermody, who posted homophobic tweets in 2021 days, as a starting pitcher a few days before this year's Pride Night at Fenway Park.

As the Red Sox miscue their way to the bottom of their division, the New England Patriots will try not to end up a last-place team themselves in 2023.

Boston Globe Red Sox reporter Alex Speier, WMUR sports reporter Jonathan Marshall, and WBUR's Radio Boston and former Patriots beat reporter Khari Thompson break down the latest in Boston professional sports.

This segment aired on June 9, 2023.
