This week's show featured a lecture titled "Bringing Democracy Alive" by Boston University Professor Emeritus of Political Science, Howard Zinn. This was the first of a new annual lecture series in which Zinn will speak on a variety of contemporary issues and historical matters.

In this lecture, Zinn calls for the impeachment of President George W. Bush and Vice President Richard Cheney, and accuses the Bush administration of starting a "war of aggression" against Iraq and the American public. Zinn also calls on Americans to stop believing that the Bush administration has the interest of the people in mind.

Alex H. MacDonald, a former student of Zinn's, and Maureen Strafford, MacDonald's wife, introduces Zinn.

This program aired on November 19, 2006.
