This show broadcast the last of three installments from the 31st annual lecture series "The Fascination with Jewish Tales" delivered by teacher, author and Nobel Prize winner Elie Wiesel.

Wiesel's 31 series focused on Jewish history, beliefs, and religious fanaticism. This final lecture of the series was entitled "A Woman in Hasidism: The Maiden of Ludmir."

Elie Wiesel, an internationally renowned human rights activist and author, won the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1986 and has taught at Boston University since 1976. He has been delivering his annual three-lecture series "Three Encounters with Elie Wiesel: The Fascination with Jewish Tales" since 1975.
