The featured speaker was author Barbara Masin whose book "Gauntlet: Five Friends, 20,000 Enemy Troops, and The Secret That Could Have Changed the Course of the Cold War" tells the true story of courage and daring against overwhelming odds in 1950s' Czechoslovakia.

This discussion was moderated by Igor Lukes, University Professor and Professor of International Relations at Boston University. Irena Grudzinska-Gross, Institute for Human Sciences Executive Director, begins the discussion with an introduction.
