This week's show featured the second of three installments from the 23rd annual lecture series "The Fascination with Jewish Tales" delivered last fall by teacher, author, and Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Elie Wiesel.

This lecture was titled "In Hasidism: Rebbe Leib Soreh's and His Mysterious Powers." "He was a kind of James Bond," Wiesel said of the disciple of the founder of the Hasidic movement. "He was everywhere and succeeded in doing everything."

Professor Wiesel was introduced by Rabbi Joseph A. Polak, Director of the Florence and Chafetz Hillel House and Rabbi to the Jewish community at Boston University.
