This week's show featured the last of three installments from the 23rd annual lecture series "The Fascination with Jewish Tales" delivered last fall by teacher, author, and Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Elie Wiesel.

The topic of this last lecture of the series was "In Religion: The Jewishness of Jesus: A Personal Interpretation."

Prior to his lecture, Wiesel was introduced by Boston University President Emeritus John Silber.

Wiesel was first asked to talk about this subject almost a decade ago by Silber. After reading about and researching the subject, Wiesel opines that Jesus "was a good Jew ... a very pious Jew."

This program aired on September 7, 2008.
